Adyen and LiveChat Service sign global partnership on conversational commerce

In doing so, the companies bring the ultimate customer experience to the market.

Driven by rapid developments in conversational commerce providing the ultimate customer experience, Adyen and LiveChat Service have combined their forces bringing conversations and payments together. Thus making it possible to complete a transaction in a conversation without ever leaving the channel, regardless of the communication channel used.

All-round solution

LiveChat Service’s communication platform (CPAAS) connects all major contact (?) channels under its new name “Conversation24.com”. Communication via WhatsApp, WeChat, e-mail, Viber, and SMS is thus made possible from a single platform. Arriving at an all-round solution for the end-user was sought after to be able to process payments without having to leave the communication platform.

Direct payment 

Taking conversational commerce to the next level, Adyen integrated its payment solution into the LiveChat Service platform. It is now possible to pay for orders immediately, in any conversation, allowing customer service chat-agents not only to fill the shopping cart but also to attach a payment link to it. The customer is thus provided with assistance from their first question to the checkout in the communication channel of their own choosing. “It can be a challenge to have customers pay effortlessly with their preferred payment methods in a personalized checkout,” said Roelant Prins, CCO at Adyen. “With the Adyen LiveChat Service integration, we offer companies the opportunity to let their customers make a purchase when they are in contact with customer service, directly via chat.”
